DGL is a dry licorice root extract from which most of the glycyrrhizic acid has been removed. The residual glycyrrhizic acid content in the finished product is less than 1%.
Description
It appears as a fine powder with a slightly cream to light brown shade. Other licorice root constituents, including flavonoids, chalcones, and polysaccharides, are retained during production.
